The Learning Reservoir team is made up of technical experts who have worked in various industries, acquiring real-life, hands-on experience of quality management and regulatory affairs. We believe that it’s the breadth of knowledge and depth of expertise that set our expert team apart. All our trainers are industry professionals as well as trained trainers. 

Dr. Fiona Masterson, Founder and Managing Director

Dr. Fiona Masterson is the Managing Director and founder of The Learning Reservoir. Fiona has over 20+ years of experience in the Life Sciences, Food and Drink industries and third level education.

She is a experienced quality and training professional. She has extensive experience of quality systems, quality standards implementation, and operations management. Fiona has worked in start-ups and high‐tech, fast paced manufacturing environments. She has also lectured for over 10 years in a several technical colleges and universities.

Fiona holds a BSc in Food Science, a Master of Science degree in Applied Science. She also has a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. Her Doctorate focused on innovative drug/device combinations products. Fiona is also a certified lead auditor.

She has published many articles in scholarly journals. Topics she has written about include regulatory affairs and innovative training methodologies. A sample of her publications include;

Mary Boyle, Training Executive

Mary Boyle is a training executive at the Learning Reservoir. She has over thirty years’ industry experience in quality assurance and quality management.
 
Mary is a talented quality professional. She has experience across various industries. She has worked in general Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Electronics and Telecommunications & more. She has worked in both start-up and fast paced manufacturing environments.
 
Mary delivers first-class, expert-driven training to our clients. Mary is an engaging and versatile trainer. She enjoys sharing her skills and knowledge with others. She has over three decades of industrial experience. The courses Mary delivers are content rich with real life case studies. Her attendees walk away from her courses feeling inspired, and equipped with career enhancing skills.
 
Mary is uniquely qualified to work as a training executive as she has a formal qualification in education. She has a Higher Diploma in Education from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She spent a part of her early career teaching Maths and Science in an Irish secondary school.
 
Mary also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Maths. She has a Diploma in Quality and a Diploma in Project Management. She is also a certified lead auditor.
