Failure modes refer to the possible failures of a process. These failures can cause waste, defects, or other negative outcomes for customers. Failure Mode and Effects Analysis is used to identify, prioritize, and limit these failure modes.
On completion of this training, participants will be able to:
- Know how to use the FMEA method.
- Understand where FMEAs are.
- Have the skills to be an active participant in a FMEA exercise.
This course is intended for engineers and manufacturing personnel that need to identify and prioritise system failure modes and their causes in a structured and methodical way.
The course does not require existing experience of FMEAs, explaining key terminology and process steps.
